Bird netting is the most effective and long-term bird control solution, offering protection from any species of pest bird. The installation of exclusion netting provides protection for a larger area than any other solution on the market. Exclusion netting can be used horizontally or vertically to protect a wide range of structures, either permanently or as a short-term solution.
This system of bird control will protect canopies, light wells, the underside of bridges, building facades and a wide range of other structures. An additional benefit of exclusion netting is that it offers protection from fouling and nesting without causing harm to feral. A discreet bird proofing solution exclusion netting provides several years of protection all year round.
Forms an exclusion zone into which the birds cannot intrude. The system involves building a frame with straining wire. This straining wire is held along the wall or surface by fixings. The net itself is then attached to the straining wire.
In most cases, we will use high-quality stainless steel wire and fixings, although lower quality alternative options are available if preferred to control costs.
Our Bird Team use heavy duty bird netting manufactured from knotted black polyethylene. It does not absorb water, does not stretch and is chemically inert. It is UV-light-stabilised for use in direct sunlight. Black is the standard colour used, as it blends in best with the surrounding environment. We can also offer other colour nets including stone, translucent white as well as flame retardant.
Bird netting is available in a variety of sizes depending on the pest bird that is causing the issue. We can offer bird netting for pigeons, gulls, starlings, sparrows and other small garden birds, as well as game bird pens.
Where required, we can fit extras such as access zips and net clips. These can be installed to allow access through the net, for example, for maintenance to air-conditioning units.
