Our Technicians
Our Pest Control Team of technicians are friendly, professional, and all qualified to BPCA level 2 or possess a master’s degree (MSc) in Biology. They have many years of experience working with a wide range of pests on a variety of sites, including high-security environments, such as airports and hospitals, as well as construction sites, commercial and residential properties.
Pest Control Maintenance Contracts
Our team carry out free surveys and provide you with reports with recommendations and costs. The recommendations may include IPM measures as described above to get you off to a good start.
All sites with maintenance contracts in place, receive at least one annual visit (Quality Audit) by our Escalations Manager; this is to ensure that you receive the highest standard of service and we review the programme to suit your needs.
Pest Control Services
We employ a number of biologists who all hold a BSc degree or higher and have relevant experience in pest behaviour and control. All our contracts include at least one annual visit by a company biologist; this is to ensure that you receive the highest standard of service. We will provide detailed reports to help you deal with more complicated cases and are always on hand to offer expert advice. Having the qualified assessment of any pest issue will ensure the correct treatment and preventative care is in place to eradicate ever pest issue.

Rats and Mice will infest any premises and bring with them a range of hazards to both health and property. Rodents are the cause of the majority of UK pest related issues. Our Pest Control team have years of experience in removal of rodents and preventing them from returning. The process can take 6-9weeks to be fully complete and requires a number of visits by our team.
Supported by our Ecology team of Biologists our rodent prevention measures will ensure your premises remain rat and mouse free. We also offer long-term contracts for large premises, developments and hospitality clients.

Wasps, moths, hornets and a range of airborne pests can be a nuisance as well as destructive. Treating a wasp nest can be dangerous as any disturbance to the nest will threaten the wasps and they will become aggressive. If you suspect an issue with Honey Bees we will relocate the hive, due to declining numbers we will not exterminate bees.

We provide reports for every visit we carry out to your site. We keep extensive records for each site treated so that we can track the pesticides used and the level of infestation. If you have a query about a particular problem, we will have the treatment history to hand.
Health & Safety
A pest report book will be left on site or at your office. This contains all the Health & Safety details including risk assessments and safety data sheets for any chemicals used on site.

We carry out one-off treatments for all types of pests such as rodents (mice, rats, squirrels), flying insects (moths, wasps, flies) and crawling insects (cockroaches, ants, bedbugs) etc.
All our treatments consider the life cycle of the pest species encountered to successfully deal with the infestation. Therefore, treatments vary in abundance of visits and time required in-between visits.
Before we visit, we provide a detailed Client Information Sheet with information of the pest encountered, details of the treatment and requirements of all parties involved. This is to ensure the best possible output.
The Pest Team can carry out extensive proofing, including kitchen / bathroom removal, to seal all entry points to a property or building.
Proofing can seem costly to the client initially but prove to be the best solution for long term pest prevention and will have financial benefits in terms of less ongoing treatment. We use rodent proof materials which comply with fire safety regulations.
Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
As members of the British Pest Control Association, Microbee Environmental practice Integrated Pest Management. This is a sustainable approach to managing pests by combining biological, cultural, physical and chemical tools in a way that minimises economic, health, and environmental risk.
- We endeavour minimise the use of pesticides but instead limit the pest infestation through understanding of biology and habits combined with what the site has to offer.
- Pest control is much more than just checking bait boxes and to gain control of infestations, improvements need to be put in place to discourage pests from “moving in”, in the first place.
- Preventative actions such as putting strict housekeeping measures in place, blocking up access points and having accurate monitoring contracts in place are key for pest prevention.
- Non-toxic monitoring contracts will pick up the earliest signs of an infestation and are a legal requirement via the product registration process for rodenticides (Biocidal Product Regulations).
