ball stop bird nets

Ball Stop Nets

Nets are used to prevent nuisance birds like pigeons, starlings and parakeets from entering your property. Ball stop nets, on the other hand, are used to prevent footballs, basketballs and tennis balls from entering or damaging premises.

Ball nets are particularly useful if you have children who like kicking a football in an alleyway.

The before/after slider  shows one example of netting installed by MICROBEE ltd. Our client, a construction company was renovating the school and their playground wanted to have prevention measures in place to stop balls being kicked into the electrical substation that is behind the brick wall (shown int he photo). It’s highly likely that the kids would try and climb into to get their balls back out, but they could easily get electrocuted in there. The construction company installed the fencing (although we could do that) and then we installed the net at an angle to allow any balls kicked onto it to roll off.

Ball stop nets are typically thicker than Aviary nets, are available in a wide variety of sizes and types, including wire and UV treated polyethylene rope. They are designed to withstand the elements, regular wear and tear, and last for a long time. The final design of mesh used, as well as the fixing is bespoke, and dependant on the exact requirements of our clients – no two jobs are the same. The one thing that is the same however is our commitment to providing an excellent service for our B2B and B2C customers!
