Microbee has been providing expert help in pest bird control since 1984. We are based in South-West London and we provide pest bird control services for London and the surrounding area.
Some of our measures were installed 25 years ago and our still effective today. You can see examples of our work protecting locations such as Canada House, Admiralty Arch, parts of Northumberland Avenue all on Trafalgar Square, one of the most notable locations for pigeons in London. Other locations include parts of Oxford Street, The Royal Opera House, Clarence House and Wellington Barracks. Further a field, Look at Llandaff Cathedral in Swansea or the Raised section of the M52 around Birmingham.
What we do
We have teams specializing in the removal, control and management of:
- Pest Birds - including Pigeons and Canada Geese
- Pigeon Netting to exclude pigeons from an area like a light well, deep ledge or rooftop plant room.
- Anti-perching wires to prevent pigeons landing on ledges, especially those in public view on a heritage building.
- Anti-perching spikes for high pressure locations. Despite their name, these spike deter pigeons and don't impale them. They are better in locations where there is a heavy pigeon presence.
- Removal of pigeon fouling and sterilizing of fouled areas both inside and outside buildings, under arches and in lofts.
Our other bird services include:
- In some circumstances we can trap or cull pest birds
- Use of specially trained dogs to unsettle Canada Geese and move them on.
- Lake and pond monitoring and maintenance where Geese are problematic.
- Egg-oiling and nest monitoring under Natural England licenses.
