Scheduled Pest ServicesThere are two reasons for scheduled services.
Pest control activity cannot be successfully carried out in isolation and it is important that the client sees control and prevention as a team activity. We cannot wave a magic wand and solve your problems in isolation. Together we can, through diligent inspections, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping, good cleaning and the selective application of sprays and poisons, keep pests out or down. Once a contract is set up (link to service levels page) our Service Controller will phone the client to fix a convenient date and time for the visit. Traffic and Weather permitting we will endeavour to be there on time and not keep you hanging around all day. Your contract will be overseen by one of our Biologists or Zoologists (link to people page) who will look after the technical and quality aspects. They may well accompany the technician on the first visit. The Technician will give you a Pest Report Book which will contain the Safety Data Sheets for any chemicals we propose to use as well as the contract details. They will then check the premises for infestation and carry out any treatment works. The Technician will then write a Client Report Sheet which you will need to sign, date and time in and out. You may also be given a Client Advice Sheet which will detail any specific repairs or improvements which you could carry out to make the treatment more successful and the premises more secure. He may also give you an Information Sheet which will give you more detailed information about the particular pest’s life cycle or Hygiene precautions that should be adopted whilst they are present. After you have read these, please ask him to clarify anything you don’t understand. The reports should be filed in your Pest Report Book so that you can find them easily and action anything that needs doing. A copy of everything will go in our office file and unless you are a cash customer, an invoice will be raised and posted to you. The details of the treatment will be posted up on our computer and unless you call us first, the next time a treatment is due, you’ll find our Service Controller phoning you the week before to book the next visit.
