Reporting Services When a Technician visits a contract client, he has a set series of duties to perform. When he has concluded these he will explain what he has done and why to the client. The Technician will then write a Client Report Sheet which the client will need to sign, date and time in and out. The client may also be given a Client Advice Sheet which will detail any specific repairs or improvements which they should carry out to make the treatment more successful and the premises more secure. He may also give the client an Information Sheet which will give you more detailed information about the particular pest’s life cycle or Hygiene precautions that should be adopted whilst they are present. The reports should be filed in the client’s Pest Report Book so that they can find them easily and action anything that needs doing.
Sometimes there are two clients, the Building Tenants and the Managing Agents. The Managing Agents will need to be kept informed about the progress of treatments and will usually handle the contract details and the invoices. They will usually get a copy of the Client’s report and advice sheets so that they can action any repairs. If there is a Building Manager or Porter, he will have the Pest Report Book and copies of the relevant treatment sheets. We do not discuss details of individual flat’s treatments with other occupiers of the building. Any queries of this sort will be routed through the Managing Agents. We may phone the Property Manager to discuss problems that arise during the course of visits and treatments that require immediate attention.
