Occasional vacancies for Bird Control Technicians No current positions, send CV	We use our own systems of netting and wiring and always train from scratch. Most of our technicians are trained to an aerial platform operators certificate, trackside safety certificate and road signage lighting and guarding supervisors certificate in addition to bird control skills There is a lot of initiative involved and a good level of hand and tool skills is looked for. Applicants should have a good head for heights and some knowledge of the building industry
Students & Travellers 2 current positions, send CV	We recruit four or five students and travellers every year. They are employed in our research projects or in the provision of our Bird Control services. They are given full training for the task. Currently our students are involved in data capture from thousands of hours of parallel video recordings as well as answering phones, talking to customers and helping our zoologists, biologists and technicians deliver a high quality service This is varied, practical job and they may be involved in anything from data capture to cleaning pigeon droppings off of London monuments to fitting nets 30 stories up from a cradle		From £6 per hour + overtime & occasional bonus	A chance to see London and do Real Science
Managers, Biologists & Zoologists No current positions, send CV	We recruit two or three graduate Biologists & Zoologists every year. They are employed in our research projects or in the supervision and management of our Pest Control services. They are encouraged to undertake further management training and many do the Diploma in Management Studies at Kingston University. Other shorter courses include Health & Safety, First Aid, Supervision, Marketing etc. This is a strictly hands on job and they are expected to get involved at the sharp end of the business or research. This might include monitoring for rats in sewers or looking for cockroach infestations in a client's kitchen in the middle of the night!	Honours Degree in relevant subject	£14 - 27,000  + commission +discretionary bonus	A chance to apply science skills both in research projects and practical situations.
