Containment  Netting

Sports grounds, school playgrounds, rubbish dumps and golf driving ranges all need to keep their activities within their boundaries.  Obviously a ball suddenly falling into a busy road could cause a serious accident.  Likewise, litter blowing out of a refuse transfer station causes a nuisance to the neighbourhood as well as a breach of the law.

Containment nets can be erected to enclose just the sides of an area or it can have a cap net over the top, as shown in the photograph below.  The nets are very inconspicuous and if it were not for the support posts, it would be difficult to spot them (look again at the picture right).

The mesh sizes can vary from 19mm for litter and golf up to 150mm for football and rugby.  There is of course a wide range of sizes in between.

Mesh material can be steel or UV resistant polypropylene or polyethylene or a combination of these.

The support posts are made from painted or galvanised steel and the support wires are stainless steel.
