2-point spikes for ledges from 25mm to 100mm

2 point spikes on handrail and 4 point for ledges from 110mm to 212mm

These are not designed to impale pigeons but simply to prevent them landing or standing comfortably.  The spikes are blunt, too thin for their feet to grasp and too long for the pigeons to straddle comfortably.  The spikes can be glued onto window cills, pipes or ledges using a building grade silicone adhesive.  They can also be attached to gutters and windows with specially designed clips.  Furthermore, the spike modules can be broken into sections to allow curved surfaces such as signs to be protected.

The adhesive does not penetrate the substrate and if the spikes are removed years later the silicone can be peeled off without causing any damage to the fabric of the building.

 Anti-perching spikes for gulls are also available but they are not effective against either starlings or sparrows.

 There are dozens of different types on the market, Microbee Bird Control Ltd predominantly uses spike modules comprising 316 grade stainless steel pins and UV stabilised polycarbonate base.  We carry 2-point, 4-point and 6-point spikes in stock offering ledge protection from 25mm up to 275mm with a single row of spikes.  Ledges wider than 275mm can be protected with parallel rows of spike modules.
